Lady Jessica
She was born in Welch, West Virginia to Jesse & Maxine Gravely. She is the third child to this union. She expresses her first encounter with Jesus Christ at the tender age of 12 years old under the ministry of Bishop Alvester & Pauline McConnell, her uncle & aunt's ministry in the United Holiness Church.
Lady Thomas has spent more than 35 years serving in the Church of God in Christ in various capacities, as Sunday School teacher, Prayer Warrior, Evangelist Missionary, Hospitality Greeter, & Church Secretary.
Lady Thomas has served in the Greater West Virginia Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction as the Convention Service Coordinator for over 10 years until being appointed as the Chief Financial Officer under the leadership of Bishop Clyde D. Brown, Jr. in July 2021. She also serves as Executive Secretary to the State Supervisor of the Women's Department, Mother Armizetta H. Conner.
Lady Thomas attended Mercer Co. Vocational Tech Center & completed the practical nursing program. She continued with her nursing education & graduated from the University of Charleston Nursing Program in 1986. In 2002 she received her bachelor's degree in nursing from West Virginia University. She is the owner & director of Special Touch Nursing Services, Inc., a thriving home health care business in South Charleston, West Virginia.
Lady Thomas resides in South Charleston with her husband Superintendent Bobby S. Thomas, Sr. She is & has been a member of the Church of God in Christ of Charleston over 22 years. Lady Thomas is the mother of four sons & two daughters, Julian, Andrew, George and Bobby Jr., Crystal, & Jade. She has 4 grandsons & 1 granddaughter.
She loves God & the Saints of God & is a blessed woman of hospitality.
